Fisniku does not write to be read. He writes so the silence can be read.
Albanian author. Writes from Prague. Published by Kandera Editions.
Four books. Two narratives. A single voice that keeps returning. Fisniku does not want to tell, he wants to suspend. To let the sentence balance between what is said and what fades. His narratives do not resolve, they settle.
The work currently comprises two titles, both available in French and in English.

Fisniku writes from Prague. The city never appears by name in the books, but it is everywhere : in the slowness, in the silences, in the attention paid to shadow.
Albanian by birth, exile by choice. Between the two languages, a third one that belongs to no country, made of patience and black ink. It is in this inner language that the books take shape, before being translated, one after the other, into French and English.
In Prague, one writes the way one walks down a long corridor. Without noise. Knowing that the door at the end may not be a door.
The publishing house associated with the work of Fisniku. Kandera publishes little, takes its time, chooses the format with care : ebook, audio, bundle. The house has no programme. It lets the books happen.

What is written in silence returns to silence, but on the way, a few pages hold.
